Note: These data are processed solely locally on your device for unlocking the application and are NOT transmitted to or stored on our servers.
The personal data we collect from you will be used for the following purposes that are necessary for the service you request:
Primary Purposes: 1. Emergency Alert Activation (Location Notice): Sending your real-time location and alert notifications to your Trusted Contacts and configured emergency services. 2. SMS Messaging: Sending verification codes, critical emergency alerts, and operational notifications. 3. Community Alerts: Allowing the publication and visualization of security reports ("checkpoints") on the map to inform the community. 4. Digital Backup: Storing, organizing, and allowing you to securely share your important personal documents. 5. Resource Directory: Providing information about organizations, consulates, and legal assistance based on your location. 6. Account Management: Creating and managing your user profile, validating your identity, and maintaining account security.
Secondary Purposes: 1. Improvements to the application and bug fixes. 2. Anonymous and aggregated statistics on application usage to improve our services.

We commit not to transfer your personal information to third parties without your consent, except for the exceptions provided in Article 37 of the LFPDPPP, as well as to perform this transfer in the terms fixed by that law.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information In compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and its amendments (CPRA), Tequio DOES NOT sell or share your personal information with third parties in exchange for money or other valuable consideration. You have the right to request that we do not sell your information, although, as stated, this is not a practice we engage in.
5.2. Children's Privacy (COPPA) Our services are NOT directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us immediately to delete such information.
To minimize risk, we retain your data only for the necessary time: 1. Real-Time Location: Processed and stored temporarily only during an active emergency or map viewing. We do not keep a long-term location history. 2. Notification Audio: Recordings generated in notification mode are retained for a maximum period of 30 days, after which they are automatically deleted, unless the user or a legal authority requests their preservation for an ongoing investigation. 3. Digital Backup: Retained while your account is active or until you decide to delete them.
The "Digital Backup" and your User Profile are designed under a Zero-Knowledge architecture: * Client-Side Encryption: Files, full name, phone number, and trusted contacts are encrypted on your device BEFORE being sent to our servers. * Zero Access: Ultimate Viewpoint S. de R.L. de C.V. DOES NOT have access to the decryption keys of your personal data. Only your device holds these keys. If we or an authority were to access the database, we would only see unintelligible characters (ciphertext). * Responsibility: Since we do not have your keys, it is crucial that you keep your account access secure. If you lose access to your account, we cannot recover your encrypted data for you.
You have the right to know what personal data we have about you, what we use it for, and the conditions of use we give it (Access). Likewise, it is your right to request the correction of your personal information if it is outdated, inaccurate, or incomplete (Rectification); that we remove it from our records or databases when you consider that it is not being used in accordance with the principles, duties, and obligations provided in the regulations (Cancellation); as well as to oppose the use of your personal data for specific purposes (Opposition).
