Welcome to Tequio (hereinafter the "Application"), developed and operated by Ultimate Viewpoint S. de R.L. de C.V. (hereinafter "Ultimate Viewpoint" or "We").
By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you ("You" or the "User") agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Application.
1.1. NO SUBSTITUTION OF AUTHORITY - COMMUNITY SUPPORT TOOL Tequio is a community connectivity and notification tool. You acknowledge and agree that Tequio is NOT an official emergency service (like 911), nor a substitute for police, firefighters, or medical services. It is a social innovation project designed to facilitate communication between you and your trusted circle. In case of a real emergency, your primary obligation and first action must always be to contact the competent local authorities. Tequio is only a "best-effort" attempt to notify your private contacts.
1.2. ROLE OF ULTIMATE VIEWPOINT (INFRASTRUCTURE FACILITATOR) Ultimate Viewpoint acts solely as the technological infrastructure facilitator (developer, hosting, and message routing provider). Our role is to provide the "pipeline" for data and messages. We do not monitor user safety, nor do we intervene in the content of private communications. Our responsibility ends once the data leaves our servers.
1.3. THIRD-PARTY FAILURE AND CONNECTIVITY Ultimate Viewpoint DOES NOT guarantee the successful delivery of alerts, notifications, or SMS messages. You understand that the functionality of the Application depends on third-party services beyond our control, including but not limited to: * Mobile phone networks and data providers. * Operating systems (Android/iOS) that may restrict background processes to save battery. * Availability of GPS/Geolocation services. * Contact Response: Ultimate Viewpoint is not responsible if your Trusted Contacts do not receive, read, or act upon a notification. The responsibility to respond lies entirely with your designated contacts.
1.4. FORCE MAJEURE AND SERVICE INTERRUPTION The service may be temporarily interrupted for maintenance, updates, or due to force majeure events (natural disasters, massive internet outages, wars, government acts). Ultimate Viewpoint shall not be liable for any loss or damage derived from such interruptions.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ULTIMATE VIEWPOINT S. DE R.L. DE C.V., ITS EMPLOYEES, DIRECTORS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM:
THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
You agree to use the Application only for legal and personal connectivity purposes. It is strictly prohibited to:

3.1. USER-GENERATED CONTENT (UGC) AND MODERATION Since the Application allows users to publish alerts ("Checkpoints") and information visible to the community, we establish a ZERO TOLERANCE policy towards objectionable content.
4.1. Content Responsibility You are solely responsible for the legality, veracity, and origin of the documents (passports, IDs, certificates) you upload to the "Digital Backup". Ultimate Viewpoint strictly prohibits the use of the Application to store forged, stolen, or altered documents. Ultimate Viewpoint provides the storage space but does not validate, supervise, or certify the content.
4.2. Privacy and Access (Zero-Knowledge) Ultimate Viewpoint implements advanced security measures. We declare that we DO NOT have visual or technical access to the decrypted content of your personal files. Your documents are stored encrypted and can only be unlocked with your device and credentials. Ultimate Viewpoint acts as a passive digital custodian.
4.3. Legal Validity The digitization of documents in Tequio is solely for reference and personal backup purposes. Tequio DOES NOT certify or legally validate the documents. The acceptance of these digital copies by immigration or legal authorities depends exclusively on local laws and the official's discretion.
By providing your phone number and accepting these terms, you consent to receive text messages (SMS) from Ultimate Viewpoint S. de R.L. de C.V. ("Tequio") for the purposes described below.
5.1. Program Description Tequio's messaging service is used for: * Assisted Notifications: Notices sent by users to their trusted circle (Circle of Trust). * Account Verification: One-time passwords (OTP) to validate your identity. * Community Updates: Notices about relevant community alerts or service updates.
5.2. Cancellation (Opt-Out) You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply send a text message with the word STOP, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE to the number from which you received the message. After sending us the SMS message "STOP", we will send you an SMS to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you wish to join again, simply sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending you SMS messages again.
5.3. Help If you have problems with the messaging program, you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at contacto@ultimateviewpoint.com.
5.4. Fees Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message and data rates may apply for any message we send to you and for any message you send to us. Message frequency varies. If you have any questions about your text or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless service provider.
5.5. SMS Privacy Your privacy is our priority. We do not share or sell your SMS consent information or your phone number to third parties for marketing purposes. See our Comprehensive Privacy Policy for more details on how we handle your data.
5.6. Nature of Communications to Contacts (Personal Messages) You acknowledge that messages sent to your Trusted Contacts are user-initiated, one-to-one personal communications triggered manually by you during an emergency. You agree to only add individuals with whom you have a close personal relationship (e.g., family, close friends) and who would reasonably expect to hear from you in an emergency. You must not use this Service to message strangers or for any commercial solicitation. If a contact replies "STOP", our system will block further messages to them, and you agree not to attempt to bypass this block.
7.1. Minimum Age (COPPA) The Application is directed to users over 18 years of age. If you are under 18 but over 13 years of age, you may use the Application only under the supervision and consent of your parents or legal guardians. Use by children under 13 is prohibited.
7.2. California Privacy Rights (CCPA) If you are a resident of California, you have specific rights regarding your personal data, including the right to know what information we collect and the right to request its deletion. All intellectual property rights over the Application, its design, logos ("Tequio", "Aegis"), source code, and content are the exclusive property of Ultimate Viewpoint S. de R.L. de C.V. or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use the Application on your personal devices.
9.1. Users in Mexico These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Mexican States. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Mexico City.
9.2. Users in the United States (Mandatory Arbitration) For users residing in the United States, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Application shall be resolved by binding and individual arbitration, and not in a court of law. * Arbitration Venue: The arbitration shall be conducted virtually or telephonically, or if physical presence is required, at a mutually agreed location that is reasonably convenient for both parties (e.g., Houston, Texas), to minimize costs. * Waiver of Jury Trial: You and Ultimate Viewpoint waive the constitutional right to go to court and have a trial in front of a judge or jury. * Class Action Waiver: You agree that you may only bring claims against Ultimate Viewpoint in your individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.
By downloading the Application from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you acknowledge and agree that:
You agree that all transactions with Tequio, including acceptance of these Terms, may be conducted electronically. You authorize the use of electronic signatures and acknowledge that your acceptance (by clicking "I Accept" or similar) has the same legal validity as a handwritten signature. You consent to receive legally required notices and documents electronically. To access and retain these electronic records, you will need a device with Internet connection and the ability to open PDF files or web pages.
Ultimate Viewpoint reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Modifications will be effective immediately upon posting in the Application. Continued use of the Application after such modifications will constitute your acceptance of the new Terms.
